Toons These Days: Motorcity Review
July 2, 2012
Whilst on a road trip, Doggy, a crotchety old toon decided to rant about Disney XD's newest show, Motorcity. Does Doggy like it? Watch and find out!
The series is set in a fictional, futuristic Detroit, called Detroit Deluxe, which is an elevated metropolis built over the old Detroit. It is owned by evil billionaire Abraham Kane (Mark Hamill). Ruling the citizens under strict laws, and banning personal freedoms including automobile transportation, Kane now faces one last obstacle: a group of hot-rod wielding rebels who call themselves the Burners. Led by Mike Chilton (Reid Scott), the Burners rise to stop Kane from conquering Detroit's last oasis of freedom—an underground refuge dubbed Motorcity.
What would you like Doggy to rant about next? Leave a comment and tell us!
TOONS THESE DAYS is a review series where Doggy D. Dachshund, an grumpy old toon from the 1,920's, rants about modern cartoons. A spin off of the webcomic "The Cartoon Chronicles of Conroy Cat". http://dtoons.com/conroy/archive/
